Becoming a Hacker

So as many know my background is on the business side of information security not the technical side. I leave that to Mike Murray and the other great instructors and resources we have at The Hacker Academy. But now the time has finally come…I get to learn how to become a penetration tester. Through this blog I will be sharing my progress and what I am able to learn on my journey. I will be going through The Hacker Academy from the standpoint of a new user and see what the experience is like while doing a bit of QA along the way while completing each module we are offering. I am going to share the challenges I am having as well as the successes (when they exist). I have already followed the steps to set up my environment now on to Module 1, Hacking Fundamentals.
