Daniel Frye

Daniel Frye has spent the last 15 years working in Information Technology and Information Security, having spent the last 9 years of that experience leading various infrastructure and security teams for an ERP application hosting provider. In addition to his ongoing management responsibility, Daniel has done security research and penetration testing of ERP application security, social engineering testing, and developed security management frameworks for shared-services hosting providers (some would use the word “cloud computing providers” here, but we’ll refrain).
In addition to the duties he performs in what he likes to call his “9-to-whenever” job, Daniel has consulted on the infrastructure technology build up for two internet start-up companies; one of which incubated in the Georgia Center for Advanced Telecommunications Technology (GCATT) before being acquired by Nokia and most recently with a social networking company which remains privately held. Daniel maintains a number of security certifications including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), GIAC Certified Information Security Professional (GISP), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), and EC Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications. Daniel also maintains membership with the SysAdmin, Audit, Network, Security (SANS) Institute Advisory Board and is a member of the Data Security Council of India (DCSI).
